Low-Density Polyethylene
Soft, flexible and lightweight plastic material.
Low-Density Polyethylene or LDPE is the first of the polyethylenes to be developed. LDPE is characterized by its good toughness and flexibility. It is a soft, pliable yet tough material. LDPE sheets have very good formability traits and also corrosion resistant, chemical resistant and low moisture absorption. LDPE has exceptional environmental stress crack resistance properties. Typical uses for thermoformed LDPE sheets include packing materials, protective covers/ sheets for agricultural and medical purposes and other applications that require the material to be ductile but strong.
Features:
- Low moisture absorption
- Good chemical resistance
